History
It was in 1994 when the country witnessed the birth of what was to become the R. A. Gapuz Review Center (RAGRC), now the most established review center in the field of nursing. Dagupan City, Pangasinan was the haven where this edifice was born. It was founded with a firm belief geared towards providing the best quality of review programs for nurses, teachers and dentists.
Its humble beginnings rose to the highest ranks and worked its way to become one of the top performing review centers. With the quest for excellence as its main thrust, the RAGRC inspired its administration to continue this pursuit. Success could have been inevitable for a company with a main man filled with passion and pure talent. This aspiration is now marked with triumph, as R. A. Gapuz Review Center has been the recipient of various prestigious awards as the MOST OUTSTANDING REVIEW CENTER in the country.
It was a long journey before the center was able to establish its name and status in the field of nursing education. However, each step of the way was marked with excellence, the trademark by which the institution was built upon.
Here are some of the significant moments highlighting the days of RAGRC's voyage through time:
- OCTOBER 1995 - The Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Office of the President granted R. A. Gapuz Review Center accreditation permit to conduct CGFNS review for nurses. This milestone brings to light the expansion of the center's scope in the provision of review for nurse’s licensure examination.
- JANUARY 6, 1997 - From partnership, the institution was converted to a corporation and was duly-registered at the Securities and Exchange Commission.
- JANUARY 21, 1997 - The Professional Regulation Commission granted a certificate of accreditation to R. A. Gapuz Review Center as a provider of continuing programs to nurses.
Another milestone adding to the impressive accolade reaped by this institution is being an internationally acclaimed review center. Beyond boundaries and horizons, R. A. Gapuz Review Center (RAGRC) takes pride for being the first Philippine-based review center to be invited to conduct review classes for CGFNS and NCLEX in Ireland from June 17 to 23, 2002.
